Mr. Jimmy Archie Brown of Harrisburg, departed this life Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at the St. Bernard\u0027s Hospital in Jonesboro, at the age of 83.

He was born March 7, 1937 in Bay Village, Arkansas, the son of the late David Brown and Dorothy Smith Brown. Archie was a 1957 graduate of Harrisburg High School. He married Zorola Watson in 1958 and they enjoyed 62 years together. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1962 and then began a long career in farming. He was an avid bird watcher and loved martins.

In addition to his parents, David and Dorothy Brown, he was preceded in death by one son, Keith Brown, one brother, James Brown and two sisters, Naomi Collins and Joy Samuel.

He is survived by his wife, Zorola Brown of the home, one son, Dewayne Brown (Tracy) of Harrisburg, one sister, Betty Lemay of Harrisburg, five brothers, Lloyd Brown (Deb) of Monroe, LA, Paul Brown of Trumann, Gerald Brown of Trumann, Larry Brown of Harrisburg and Eddie Brown of Colt, four grandchildren, Roza Brown (Jimmy Kilgore)of Harrisburg, Jill Davis (Greg) of Jonesboro, Jagger Studdie of Harrisburg and Morgan Brown of Harrisburg, one great grandchild, Vincent Rush and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.

Funeral services are set for Friday, August 7, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg with Bro. Van Gilbert and Bro. Greg Hoskins officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery with full military honors.

Friends may visit at the funeral home, Friday, 1:00 p.m. till service time.

Pallbearers will be Lloyd Brown, Paul Brown, Gerald Brown, Larry Brown, Eddie Brown and Tommy Brown.
