Obituary
Jonesboro- Jimmie Anderson Broadaway, 76, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at St. Bernards Hospital.
He was born March 27, 1941 in Jonesboro to the late Paul and Verdis Broadaway. He was self-employed for many years and will be remembered as a loving son, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He was also preceded in death by a son, John Broadaway; and a granddaughter, Heather Broadaway.
He is survived by his children, Serita Sutton of Munford, TN and Keith Broadaway of North Little Rock; a brother, Jerry Broadaway of Crossett; four sisters, Phillis Heider of St. Louis, MO, Patsy Stone, Linda Young and Charlotte Payton all of Jonesboro; three granddaughters, Natalie Rook, Erin Berryhill of Munford and Elissa Broadaway of Lawton, OK; one grandson, John-Paul Broadaway of Lawton; and one great-grandchild, Kayden Rook.
A graveside service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Union Grove Cemetery in Jonesboro with refreshments and fellowship to follow at the Union Grove Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Union Grove Cemetery fund.
