Obituary
Jonesboro- Jewel Marie Layne Hutchison "94" born July 22, 1924 went to her reward on Monday August 27, 2018. She was the daughter of Alvis and Willie Honey Layne of Monette. On December 22, 1943 she married Henry Clay "Bill" Hutchison who preceded her on August 11, 2000. Jewel was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by two sons, Gregory ( Jane) Hutchison of Richburg, NY and Harry (Laurie) Hutchison of Jonesboro; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Billie Layne of Monette and Rosemary Smith of Jonesboro, and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her siblings Leo Layne, Mildred Hawkins and Lucian "Jiggs" Layne.
Her life was celebrated in a private family service.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be considered for the Children's Home of Paragould or St. Bernards Village or St. Bernards Hospice or Southwest Church of Christ.
