Jewel D. Bishop of Memphis, TN passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the age of 92. Daughter of Joe and Ola Murray Hall on May 14, 1933, in Pocahontas.

She was a housewife and a proud loving and devoted mother of eight boys and one girl.  She loved the Lord with all her heart.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard D. Bishop; parents, Joe and Ola Murray Hall; sons, Denny Bishop and Clinton Bishop; three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Bishop Hailey; six sons, Howard (Beverly) Bishop, Mark (Debbie) Bishop, Mike (Darla) Bishop, Rick (Joy) Bishop, David (Courtney) Bishop and Jeffrey Bishop; grandchildren, Mary Grace Bishop, Ashley Bishop, David Bishop, Susan Bishop, Sean Hailey, Adam King, Brian Bishop, Brandon Bishop, Rachel Bishop, Brittany Bishop, Rebekah Bishop, Emily Bishop, Aubrey Bishop; sister Lola Walls, and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday May 21, 2025, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with the funeral service to begin at 1:00 pm with Jeffrey Bishop officiating. All services will be held in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery.
