Jessie Ruth Thatch Berry, 85, of St. Peters, MO passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Mt. Carmel Senior Living.

She was born October 15, 1938 in Randolph County, AR to the late J.W. and Mattie Kildow Thatch.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of St. Peters, MO.

Jessie was preceded in death by her parents, J.W. and Mattie Thatch; and first husband, Jerry Berry.

Jessie is survived by her husband Clyde Axley of St. Peters, MO; son, Ron (Denise) Berry of Brighton, MI; daughter, Linda (Steve) Duello of St. Charles, MO; brother, Bill Thatch of Pocahontas; sisters, Lena May Watson of Pocahontas, Charlene Vandergriff of Hamil, and Nina Hausman of Engelberg; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 11 AM at Johnston Cemetery at Reyno under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
