Jonesboro- Mr. Jesse Clifford Wilson, 95, passed away Saturday October 12, 2013 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Mr. Wilson was born August 7, 1918 in Jonesboro to the late Jesse M. and Jimmie Long Wilson. He was a retired Pipe Fitter for the local 798 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Wilson currently was a door greeter at Walmart off of Highland Drive for 21 years. He loved to read, watch western movies and ball games. Mr. Wilson was a 32nd degree scottish rite mason and a member of the Masonic Lodge #129. He is survived by his wife, Mondrie Gambill Wilson of Jonesboro; a son, J. Stephen Wilson of Jonesboro; four brothers, Raymond Wilson of Michigan, Albert Wilson of Florida, Lester Wilson of Massachusetts and Jimmy Wilson of Jonesboro; a sister, Margaret Ann Cooper of Brookland; a grandson, Jesse Caton Wilson. Proceded in death by three siblings, Marie Walker, Earl Wilson and Opie Wilson. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday October 15, 2013, at 2 p.m. with military honors at Shiloh Cemetery near Jonesboro with Rev. Johnny Hutchison officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted with Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday October 15, 2013 at noon with a Masonic Rite at 1 pm at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel. Masonic Rites will be given at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Honored to serve as pallbearers are members of the Masonic Lodge #129.
