Jesse Alan Rogers, 74, of Pocahontas passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

He was born September 16, 1946 in Biggers to Jess and Loyce Johnson Rogers. He was a farmer and a member of Shannon Baptist Church.

Alan was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue Hollaway Rogers; father, Jess Rogers; sister, Rita Carol Golliver; and brother, Wayne Rogers.

He is survived by two sons, Carroll (Robin) Rogers of Pocahontas and Kelvin Rogers of Dumas; daughter, Kim Taylor of Pocahontas; six grandchildren, Erica (Tyrone) Johnson of Pocahontas, Ryan (Megan) Rogers of Stokes, Blake Rogers of Joiner, Madison Rogers of Pocahontas, Carson Rogers of Pocahontas, and Caton Taylor of Pocahontas; four great grandchildren, Malik, Jayla and Kylah Johnson and Blakely Rodriguez; his mother, Loyce Rogers; brother, Larry Rogers; and three sisters, Patsy Hall, Millie Thompson, and Sherry Rogers; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 12-2 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 2 PM with Roger Hovis officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Rogers, Blake Rogers, Carson Rogers, Ricky Rogers, Malik Johnson, and Caton Taylor.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Tyrone Johnson and Roy Rodriguez.
