Jerry Dean Turner, 73, of Pocahontas passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

He was born December 23, 1949 in Bald Knob to the late Thomas Jefferson and Retha Lorene Cooper Turner.  He worked as a sawmiller and an iron worker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lorene Turner; granddaughter, Sara Baltz; and brother, Gary Turner.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Patricia Bernice Walker Turner; daughter, Deana Turner of Bald Knob; two grandchildren, Jesse Baltz of Pocahontas and Kristan Turner of Bald Knob; five great grandchildren; brother, Tommy (Kathy) Turner of Beebe; two sisters, Melba Lawson of Searcy and Marilyn McCoy of Pocahontas; and many other relatives and friends.

Jerry will be laid to rest in the Turner Cemetery.  His family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
