Jerry Dean Junkersfeld, 62, of Pocahontas passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was born May 28, 1959, in Pocahontas to Otis and Martha Welch Junkersfeld.  He worked for Brown Shoe Company and later for the City of Pocahontas Street department.

He is preceded in death by his father, Otis Junkersfeld; son, Joshua Junkersfeld; paternal grandparents, Alvin and Evelyn Junkersfeld; maternal grandmother, Vida Kellett; and maternal grandfather, John Welch.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Martha Junkersfeld of Pocahontas; son, Brian (Amanda) Junkersfeld of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Sawyer and Baylor Junkersfeld of Pocahontas; brothers, Rick Junkersfeld, Tim (Andrea) Junkersfeld, Kevin (Savanna) Junkersfeld, and Harold Junkersfeld; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Chad Williams, Ben Wicker, Rick Nipps, Mark Junkersfeld, Robert Atkins and Brent Kee.

All services will be held in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Monday, February 28, 2022 from 5-7 PM.  Funeral Service will be Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 10 AM with Dan Avery officiating.  Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery.
