Jonesboro- Jerry Stanley Johnson, 68, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at this home.

He was born November 6, 1953 in Tennessee to the late Raymond and Genieva Finley Johnson. Jerry had worked for ARKLA Gas (now CenterPoint Energy) for thirty years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, racecars and going to his cabin. He loved his wife, family and his dogs.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Lois Frames Johnson; a daughter, Christy Hinton; grandchildren, Dylan Hinton and Sara Hinton; a great-grandchild, Kannen Hinton; a brother, Tim Johnson all of Jonesboro and many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Danny Johnson, Bobby Johnson, Charles Johnson and Billy Johnson and two sisters, Nelda Montgomery and Margie Johnson.

The visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2022 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

A private service will be at a later date.
