Jonesboro-Jerry Jackson, 55, passed away Thursday June 18, 2015 at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born February 24, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri to Talmadge and Joleda Jackson. Mr. Jackson worked for St. Bernard's Medical Center for over 32 years. He loved to hunt, read and was a gunsmith. He was of Baptist faith. He is survived by his mother, Joleda Jackson of Paragould; a daughter, Stephanie Moore and her husband Jimmy of Batesville; a son, Derek Jackson and his wife Amanda of Paragould; three grandchildren, Molly and Garrett Moore of Batesville and Keegan Jackson of Paragould; a brother, Johnny Jackson and his wife Paulette of Gray, Louisiana; a nephew, Jason Jackson of Kennett, Missouri; a great-nephew, Jacob Jackson of Kennett, Missouri and an Aunt Mary Harris of Paragould. He is proceeded by his father Talmedge "John" Jackson. A celebration of his life will be 2:00 pm Sunday June 21, 2015 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Marion Gramling and Rev. Raymond Atwood officiating. Burial will follow at Mt Zion Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
