Hoxie- Jerry Alan Huffman, 56, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Jackson-Madison County Hospital in Jackson, TN.

He was born May 9, 1963 in Vienna, Ohio to the late Elwood and Deanna Bray Huffman. Jerry served his country proudly and retired after thirty years with the United States Navy. As a hobby he was a carpenter and a diesel mechanic and enjoyed fishing. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, George Huffman and a sister, Patty Huffman.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Debra Huffman; his children, Elizabeth Staley (Flora) of Pensacola, FL, Teresa McCostlin and Zackary Huffman both of Hoxie; five brothers, Rick Huffman (Karen) of Dallas, TX, Donnie Huffman (Debbie) of Warren, Ohio, David Huffman (Darlene) of Savannah, TN, Lee Huffman (Jeannie) Lisbon, Ohio and Mark Huffman of Conneaut, Ohio; two sisters, Debbie Clayborne (Ink) of Niles, Ohio and Donna Huffman (Tina) of South Huron, MS; five grandchildren, Skie Johnson, Colt Landers (Monica), Haley Littlejohn (Caleb), Anthony McCostlin and Lane McCostlin; five great-grandchildren, Aubree Johnson, Laklyn Johnson, Kaydra Johnson, Jaxson McCostlin and Kota Landers; and several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 2:00 until 5:00 pm Sunday at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home, 300 W. Matthews Ave in Jonesboro.

A celebration of his life will be 10:00 am Monday at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Burton officiating. Interment will follow at Arkansas Veterans Cemetery at Birdeye with military honors.
