Bono- Jerry Wayne Haner, 79, passed away Friday June 9, 2017 at St Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born on December 29, 1937 in Harrisburg to the late George Haner Sr. and Mildred Woodcock Haner.

Mr Haner will be remembered as a loving father and a hardworking man of great integrity who was always willing to help someone in need. He worked for Cartwell Company in Weiner for forty years and was a certified water well driller, an avid Bee Keeper as well as a volunteer fireman in Weiner for many years.

Survivors include his best friend and companion, Louise Pugh of Bono; daughter, Kristy Milam (David) of Bay; son, Freddie Haner of Trumann and daughter, Margaret Mullins of Ohio; sister, Ruby Pratt (Donald) of Jonesboro; brothers, Ray Haner (Jean) of Idaho and George Haner Jr. (Delana) of Harrisburg; sister-in-law, Shelly Haner of Idaho; grandchildren, John Mullins, Joannie Betts (Ryan), Steven Haner, Devon Wagner (Mitchell) and Dalton Hisaw; three great-grandchildren as well as numerous other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents a brother, Norman Haner and a sister Lucille O'Brian.

Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Trinity Cemetery in Bono.
