Obituary

Brookland- Jerry Earl Brown, 75, passed away Thursday, October 13. 2016 at his home.

He was born May 15, 1941 in Newport to the late Lester and Gracie Mae Brown.
He graduated in 1960 from Brookland High School. Jerry owned and operated Brown's Auto Salvage and Towing for twenty-five years. He was an avid NASCAR and Kyle Bush fan. He enjoyed watching westerns and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Vivian Brown; his children, Jerrod Brown, Nicole Miller (Scott), Kimberly Tinnon (Edward) all of Brookland; five grandchildren, Zachery Tinnon, Morgan Miller, Drew Brown, Drake Miller and Jillian Miller; a great-granddaughter, Lennox Brown; sister, Judy White (Richard) of Jonesboro; half-brothers, Lloyd Brown of Florence, Miss, Wayne Brown of Cabot and Robert Brown of Chicago, IL; his dog, baby girl Itsy

He was also preceded in death by two half-sisters, Christine Robinson and Ann Pyle.

A celebration of his life will be 2:00 pm Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with David Gibbons officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from noon until 2:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jerrod Brown, Drew Brown, Scott Miller, Drake Miller, Edward Tinnon and Jerry Cole and as honorary pallbearers, Troy Maynard, Ronnie Montgomery, David White and Brett Robinson.

Lasting memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
