Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Cheney Phillips departed this life on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the age of 53..

She was born June 21 1971 in Chicago, IL to the late Charles Wesley Cheney Sr. and Edna Elizabeth Jackson Cheney.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Phillips and a son, Chase Calvin Brooks and her brother, John Henry Cheney.

She is survived by one son, Christopher Allen (Amber) Cheney, one daughter, Lyndsey Anne Marie ( Alex) Williams, four stepchildren, Cassandra (Chad) of Longview, TX, Jacob (Alex) Phillips of Dallas, TX, Jaclyn Pulver of Laredo, TX, Samuel ( Rocio) Phillips of Laredo, TX.  One sister, Carol Stover of Harrisburg, AR, one brother, Charles (Chuckie) Cheney .

Jennifer was a social butterfly, never met a stranger.  She had a very unique sense of humor ( and if you knew Jennifer you know what I mean by unique). She loved to pull pranks on people and the crazier the better. Jennifer had an open door policy to her home, if someone needed a place to stay she would always welcome them. She loved to cook for people and try new recipes. Jennifer was very tender-hearted and would try to save all the animals, wild or domesticated. Reminds me of a time she was nursing wild baby rabbits and found a wounded bobcat. She brought it  in and gave it a BATH! That's Jennifer!

Jennifer loved her family and friends. Her heart belonged to her grandkids. She absolutely adored them!

She liked going to yard sales and flea markets, but she loved going to the casino for fun.

A memorial service is set for June 21, 2025, at 2:00p.m.  at her home, 20961 Distress Creek Rd. Harrisburg, AR.
