Pocahontas - Jeffrey Lance Weiss, 47, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010. Born January 17, 1963 in St. Louis, MO. He is preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Weiss. He is survived by wife, Gail Weiss of the home. Three children; Adam Weiss of the home, Paul and wife Erika Shipp, and Amy and husband Danny Taylor all of Pocahontas. Two grandchildren; Trason Johnson and Draven Shipp both of Pocahontas. Three sisters; Sherry and husband Frank Allen of Lasalle, IL., Sheila Hogan, and Lawanda and husband Jimmy Finch both of Potosi, MO. Father, Cleave Weiss of Batesville. Special mother-in-law, Elouise Hufstedler, brother-in-law, Steve and wife Donna Hufstedler, several nieces and nephews, and numerous friends and family. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 03, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday night from 5-8 p.m.
