Springfield, MO - Jeff Baltz passed from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Saturday, September 22, 2018 in Springfield, Mo.

Jeff was born in Pocahontas on May 8, 1960. He was the son of Sara and Jim Baltz. He graduated from St Paul school in 1978, where he excelled at basketball and golf. He attended Arkansas State University and graduated from the University of Ark with a degree in Pharmacy. He practiced in Houston, Texas and Memphis.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jim; his grandparents, Bill and Gert Stehr and John and Gaye Baltz.

He is survived by his mother, Sara Stehr Baltz; sisters, Beth (John) Throesch of Pocahontas and Debbie (Greg) Rowland of Springfield, Mo. along with several nieces and nephews.

Jeff enjoyed golf, travel, and spending time with friends. He loved his family and friends and was especially devoted to his dog, Jackson. Those who worked with Jeff spoke of him as someone who was kind and always willing to help others.

Visitation will be Friday, September 28, 2018 at McNabb Funeral Home from 5:30-7:00 pm with a rosary immediately following at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:00 am at St.Paul Church in Pocahontas with Father Mariadass Vallapaneni officiating. Burial in St. Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St.Jude Research Hospital in Memphis at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105, St. Paul's School, or memorial of your choice.
