Jeannie Kaye Clark Roberts, 74, of Jonesboro, passed away on September 8, 2022, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

Jeannie was born September 17, 1947, to the late Helen Stopher Clark and A.B. "Blue" Clark, Sr. Jeannie was a graduate of Valley View High School where she was a cheerleader and active in many clubs and activities. She was active at Ridgecrest Baptist Church where she played the piano for many years. After attending Arkansas State University, Jeannie worked at Mercantile Bank of Jonesboro. She was a member of the AJ Chapter of PEO Jonesboro and volunteered with the Arkansas Sheriffs' Youth Ranch for 38 years. In 1973, she married William R. "Bill" Roberts. Her devotion to Bill was steadfast and they supported each other as a team through their 49 years of marriage.

Jeannie loved her family more than anything and was loved back in return. She showered everyone she touched with her unending love and generosity.

Jeannie is survived by her husband of 49 years, William R. "Bill" Roberts; three stepchildren, Mary Jane Redington of Dallas, TX, Julie McVicker (Dan) of Dallas, TX, and Dean Roberts, of Dallas, TX; step-grandchildren, Melanie, John, and William McVicker and Allie Redington of Dallas, TX; sister, Gaye Roach (Doyle) of Fayetteville; brother, Arvin Clark of Lake City; nieces, Olivia Stobaugh (John) of Fayetteville, Eden Moore of Fayetteville, Chastity Fittro (Zach) of Fayetteville, Candice Clark of Lake City, and Amber Davis (Phillip) of Lake City; many great-nieces and nephews; lifelong friends, Shirley Winn and Jay Furnatter, and her loving golden retrievers, Ike and Will.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2022 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Don Martin officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, lasting memorials may be made to the NEA Baptist Charitable Foundation, Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, or a charity of your choice.
