Mrs. Jean Frances Ford, of Bono, departed this life Saturday Night, January 13, 2018, at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, at the age of 77.

She was born April 14, 1940 in Paragould, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Clarence Hammon and Vaudene McFall.

Jean married Donnie Ford on January 11, 1962 and they enjoyed 56 years together. She was formerly of Burton, Michigan and moved to Arkansas in 1983. Jean was a homemaker but also retired from Hytrol after 8 years of service. She liked to bowl and was on a Senior Bowling League for many years. She was a huge Elvis fan. One of her greatest pleasures was watching her granddaughter play softball and basketball games.

She is survived by her husband, Donnie Ford, of the home, one daughter, Tonya Geror of Weiner, one granddaughter, Tosha Geror of Weiner, a son in law, Rolland Geror of Wynne, three sisters, Phyllis DeLaRosa of Clio, MI, Karen Johnson (Dan) of Linden, MI, and Beverly Mark of Clio, MI, four brothers, Jimmy Hammon of Flint, MI, Roger Hammon of West Virginia, Dan Hammon (Karen) of Goldsboro, N.C. and Dave Hammon (Brenda) of Clio, MI, and several nieces and nephews.

Services are set for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jeff Junyor officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Cemetery at Bono. Friends may visit at the funeral home Tuesday evening, 5:00-7:00 p.m.
