Jason Thomas Hicks Gardner of Harrisburg departed this life on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at his home, at the age of 55.
He was born January 12, 1969, in Harrisburg, Arkansas.
Jason was a 1987 graduate of Harrisburg High School. He met Brandy Murphy at ASU and they were married in 1999. He worked several factories throughout the years and his last job was a technician with JK America, a manufacturer of sun beds. Jason loved to hunt and fish, ride the 4 wheeler, and hang out with friends. He loved raising chickens and enjoyed a huge knife collection. He also liked to cook, travel and was an avid music lover of all genres. He lived a fun and happy life. Jason was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Gardner, his daughter Kayna Gardner in 2018, his grandparents, Tom and Evangeline Hicks and Art and Jean Rogers, and two aunts, Rachel Biggs and Sandy Hicks.
He is survived by: His wife of 25 years, Brandy Gardner of the home, one son, Walker Gardner of Blytheville, one Daughter, Chelsea Gardner of Jonesboro, his mother, Tommye and Dr. Larry McNamara of Jonesboro, two grandchildren, Kyler Fallon and Kayson Gardner, whom he loved very much. Two aunts, Tricia Hicks of Memphis, TN, Lynette and her husband, John Ward of Florida and one uncle, Dennis and his wife Karen Rogers of Jonesboro, Marc Rogers, biological father and his wife, Becky of Jonesboro. Very special people in his life: Todd Edwards, Jerrad Edwards, Donald Shannon, Corey Shannon, Todd Clements, and Mickey Ryan.
A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church in Harrisburg, Arkansas, Sunday, January 12, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.
