Ms. Janice Pugh of Harrisburg, Arkansas, departed this life Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, at the age of 67.
She was born April 15, 1947 in Harrisburg, the daughter of the late C.W. Pugh and Phoebe Polk Pugh.
Janice was the most generous, unselfish and sweetest person ever. She helped her family so much. You had to be careful mentioning anything you wanted because she would go out and buy it for you. She took her nieces and nephews wherever they wanted to go and loved them like her own children. She loved reading and watching television. She was a collector of comic book, albums, books, and vcr tapes that she recorded. We never heard her say a bad thing about anyone and never complained, even though we knew she was in pain. She loved animals and spent a lot of time and money taking care of strays. She was so kind to everyone. She had a knack for sarcasm which we will miss in a weird way. She was so dedicated to her job at DHS and worked long hours and overtime without being paid. She was the best sister and aunt anyone could ever have and we loved her so much. We just can't say enough about how good a person she was. She will be missed severely and never forgotten.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Gregg-Weston Funeral Home in Harrisburg on Saturday, January 6, 2017, 1:00-3:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to stop in and share with the family as they remember her life.
