Brookland- Janet Suzanne Elder, 30, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born April 9, 1983 in Jonesboro to Ralph and Brenda Mink Elder. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She is survived by her parents, Ralph and Brenda Elder of Brookland; a sister and her husband, ReGina and Aaron Farley; two brothers, Chad Elder and wife, Lacey and Blake Elder all of Brookland; eight nieces and nephews, Patrick Farley, Emily Farley, Chandler Elder, Kendall Elder, Cayden Elder, McKenzie Page, Eli Page and Emma Elder; special caregivers, Kathryn Persfull and Mrs. Pearline. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lestel and Edith Elder; Albert and Lorene Mink and a nephew, Hayden Elder. A celebration of her life will be 10:00 am, Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Becker officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Friday, January 17, 2014 at the funeral home. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Aaron Farley, Chad Elder, Blake Elder, Patrick Farley, Bryan Shipman and Eric Watson and as honorary pallbearers Wilson Shipman and Chandler Elder.
