Janet Edwards Banks, 69, of Corning, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 in her home.

Janet was born October 26, 1951 to Mursey "Jim" Henry and Dorthy Gladys Yardley Edwards in Breese IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mursey "Jim" and Dorthy Edwards; and brother James Henry Edwards.

Janet is survived by sons, Anthony (Vicky) Banks of Corning and Ambrose (Desiree) Banks of House Springs, MO; daughters, Andrea (Scott) Wright of Mena, AR and Ashley (Chris) England of Paragould; grandchildren, Christopher (Kimberly) Banks of Corning, Ally Wright and Will Wright of Mena AR, Shelby Banks of Corning, Lane England of Paragould, Sean Banks and Izzy Banks of House Spring, MO; great-granddaughter, Braileigh Banks; and sisters, Jane Adams of Patoka IL and Lois (Paul) Holthaus of Breese IL.

Janet raised a wonderful family and cared for others before herself. She was a loving and dedicated caretaker for so many years to so many families and loved when she could be with all of her grandchildren.

She worked for Five Rivers Medical Center Home Health for 23 years and received Employee of the Year twice.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 10, 2021, 6-8 P.M. in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Cremation is the chosen method of disposition.
