Obituary

James Vernon (Jim) Luter passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at St. Benards Hospital surrounded by friends and family. Jim was born to the late Theo and Nadine Luter in St. Louis, MO on July 03, 1942. Jim is survived by his daughters; Kriti Bass of Pocahontas and Kelly Luter of Elyria, OH. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren; Nicholas \u0026 Lauren Bass and Mackenzie Pero-Luter. He is also survived by his sister Genny Barr of Pocahontas, and his brother, Terrill Luter of Hot Springs, AR. Many other family members survive Jim, including; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends as well. Visitation hours will be Monday, December 20th from 5-8:00 p.m. at McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas. The memorial service will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. also at McNabb's. The family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers. Pallbearers include: David Luter, Jeremy Presley, Shawn Kelley, John Segraves, Monte Segraves, and Preston Griffith.
