Obituary
Imboden- James "Jim" Harold Taylor, 87, went to be with the Lord, Sunday October 23, 2016 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Jim was born August 9, 1929 in Missouri to the late B. F. and Pearlie Taylor. He retired from General Motors in St. Louis after 30 years. He was a member of the Imboden Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Barbara Williams Taylor; four sisters, Delois Moore of Lucas, Kentucky, Danell Wood (George) of Trumann, Sue Sloan (Charles) of Pevely, Missouri and Carolyn Hall (John) of St. Louis and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Dortha Taylor and a brother, Earl Taylor.
A celebration of his life will be 2:00 Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Howard Panky officiating. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Honored to serve as pallbearers, Farrel Roberts, Gerald Barber, James Ratliff, Joe Bills, Steve Williams and Bobby Williams.
