Obituary
Pocahontas - James Leo Swinney, 90, of Pocahontas passed away Monday, December 4, 2017 at NEA Baptist Hospital.
He was born November, 21, 1927 in Pocahontas to John William and Rittie L. Graham Swinney.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Junior Swinney and Bill Joe Swinney; and two sisters, Wanda Pendergrass and Hazel Dean Swinney.
He is survived by his wife, Neva Swinney of the home; a brother in law, William (Nadine) Shaver of Ohio; two nieces and two nephews; and adopted family Donna (Tommy) Hibbard.
Graveside service will be Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Masonic Cemetery with Nelson Henderson officiating. Visitation will be Friday, December 8, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM at McNabb Funeral Home.
