Mr. James Cleveland Reeves of Harrisburg, departed this life Monday, February 13, 2017, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 77.
He was born November 22, 1939 in Vienna, MO, the son of the late James Raymond Reeves and Tressie Esther Barton.
James was a logger and had enjoyed that profession all his life. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and going to the river. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Edith McMullin.
He is survived by three children, Shane Reeves of Harrisburg, Tanna Reeves Kohler (Kevin) of Pompano Beach, FL and Greg Reeves of St. James, MO, two brothers, Jack Reeves (Rowena) of Kingdom City, MO and Donnie Reeves of Licking, MO, two sisters, Joyce Boyd of Belle, MO and Jody Lay of Granite City, IL, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, February 19th, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. David Mitchell officiating.
