James Robert "Bob" Brown, 78, of Hampshire, Illinois passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 in Crystal Lake, Illinois. He was born August 23, 1937 in Hamil, Arkansas, the son of Della Maude (Roach) and Arthur Lloyd Brown. He married Betty Jean Abbott in St. Louis, Missouri on October 20, 1973. He served in the US Army Reserves and worked in outside sales in the fiberglass industry. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife. Survivors include daughters, Pamela (Wayland) Barbour of Cleburne, TX, Michele (Mack) Spakes of Joshua, TX, step son Bobby Brown of Hampshire, IL, step mother Ann Brown, of Ravenden Springs, AR; grandchildren, Kristina (Michael) Arthurs of Cleburne, TX, Colton Spakes of Joshua, TX; great grandchildren Christopher Arthurs, Kane Britt and Katy Britt of Cleburne, TX; close personal friends, Ken and Crystle Higa and children, Kenny, Xavier, and Kalia of Hampshire, IL A Graveside funeral service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Masonic Cemetery.
