Pocahontas, James Edward Palmer, 94, passed away February 5, 2016. James was born March 6, 1921 in Warm Springs, Arkansas to the late Perry and Della Hogue Palmer. James served our country as a Army medic during WWII. James is survived by his wife Audry Palmer, daughters Delores Palmer and Vickie Johnson, 3 grandchildren, 5 great- grandchildren, sister Opal White and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Irvin Palmer and sister Glenna Wright Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2016 10-11 a.m. at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be immediately following at 11 a.m. with Terry Miller officiating. Burial will be at Masonic Cemetery.
