Mr. James Albert "Jimmy" Morris, of Harrisburg, departed this life Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 56.

He was born May 22, 1965 in Verdun,France, the son of the late Robert Ray Morris and Mary Epsy Morris.

James joined the U.S. Army following high school and served 4 years before joining the National Guard.  He served an additional 4 years in the guard.  He worked in farming for many years and the worked in rigging for almost 25 years.  He enjoyed working on small engines.  He loved to read and hunt and shoot his guns.  He was an avid Razorback football fan and loved his grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 siblings.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Morris of the home, one daughter, Louise Wynn of Benton, two sons, Larry Ferris (Amber) of Sheridan, and James Robert Morris (Nicole) of Hensley, his stepmother, Dorothy Morris of Harrisburg, 6 sisters, 2 brothers, and 9 grandchildren, Cheyenne, Hannah, Franklin, John, Jacob, Jesse, Dylan, Wyatt, and Chevy.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel.  Friends may visit prior to services, 12:30 – 2:00 p.m.
