Jonesboro- James L. Harris passed away Saturday, December 25, 2010 at his residence. He was born August 16, 1925 in Jonesboro to the late Herman and Audrey Harris. Mr. Harris served his country proudly in the United States Navy during World War II. He retired from Celanese Corp. in Bishop, Texas in 1981 and returned to Jonesboro.
