Jonesboro- James Bruce "Butch" Kirksey Jr., 61, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 at his home.

Butch was born December 28, 1960 in Jonesboro. He was a welder and had worked at FARR and Trailmoble. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his mother, Jo Kirksey; sister, Jill Hodges (David) all of Gulfport, Mississippi and friend and caregiver, April Easley of Jonesboro.

A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Jonesboro with Pastor David Hodges officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Family Worship Center, 15011 Parkwood Dr. N., Gulfport, MS 39503 or to St. Bernard's Hospice in Jonesboro.
