LITTLE ROCK-James W. Johnston, 75, died Saturday at Five Rivers Medical Center. He was born January 10, 1933 in Randolph County to the late Harold W. and Nola Harris Johnston. His wife, Aster Ulmer Johnston, a brother, Thomas Neil Johnston and a sister, Mary Nell Veeder, also preceded him in death. Survivors include a son, Kevin Johnston and wife, Diana, of Little Rock, two daughters, Felicia Borin and husband, Don, of Columbus, GA and LeAnn Ruddick and husband, Pat, of Marion, ten grandchildren, Chayne Johnston, Alisha Brown, Seth, Cody, Will, Beau and Cole Borin, Linley, Aspen and Breck Ruddick, a great-grandson, Camp Brown, a brother, Wendell Johnston and a sister, Carol Lea McGuirt both of Maynard. Services will be held at 1pm Wednesday in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with John Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Brockett Cemetery Visitation will be 5-7 Tuesday at the funeral home.
