James Robert Hollaway, 68, of Pocahontas passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at his home.
He was born March 6, 1951 in Delaplaine to the late Darrell and Dorothy Garrett Hollaway. He was a mechanic and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, David Hollaway; and one sister, Sue Rogers.
He leaves behind his loving wife Darcy Hollaway and his three daughters, Jessy Decker of Pocahontas, Jennifer Lester of Imboden, and Joanne Pashia of Cadet, MO. He also leaves behind several grandchildren: Alex Decker, Dakota Hollaway, Joey Lester, Marcella Lester, Cody Allen, Jody Allen, Loretta Allen, Lex Allen, and Laura Allen. He also leaves four siblings, Willene Hovis, Karen Rogers, Rhonda Higginbotham, Loretta Freeman, and Randy Hollaway.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is loved so much and will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
No services will be held at this time. Cremation has been chosen as the mode of final disposition. Arrangements are under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
