James Earl Hoggatt, 61 of Pocahontas passed away February 27, 2023 at his home.

James was born in Winchester, IN. to Donald Earl Hoggatt and Mary Ellen Taylor Hoggatt on July 9, 1961.  James was a retired Corrections Officer from the Sheriff Department in Florida.

He was preceded in death by his father Donald Earl Hoggatt and his step dad Jack Williams.

He is survived by his wife Betty Hoggatt of the home; son Jonathan Hoggatt; mother Mary Ellen Williams; sister Cathy Longfellow and granddaughter Skylin Hoggatt.

A memorial service will take place March 11, 2023 at 10:00am at First Assembly of God with Terry Miller officiating.

Cremation has been chosen as final disposition. Arrangements are under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
