James Dale Gillean, 64, of Peach Orchard passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

He was born May 21, 1957 in Walnut Ridge to the late Richard and Wilma Varner Gillean.  He was retired from Emerson Electric in Paragould.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Wilma Gillean; and two brothers, Jesse Gillean and Bobby Jack Gillean.

James is survived by his sons, James R. Gillean of Brookland and Matt (Meagan) Gillean of Brookland; five grandchildren, Kelsey Gillean, Kinley Gillean, Nash Gillean, Pace Gillean, and Steelie Gillean all of Brookland; four sisters, Patricia Rogers of Peach Orchard, Deonna (Homer) Gray of Paragould, Darnell Smothers of Paragould, and Kathy Gillean of Delaplaine; five brothers, Henry (Shirley) Gillean of Peach Orchard, Glen Dale Gillean of Atkins, Don Gillean of Paragould, Dan (Brenda) Gillean of Paragould, and Ed (Debbie) Gillean of Powhatan; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 12:00-1:00 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM with Terry Milburn officiating.  Burial will follow in Jones Ridge Cemetery near Delaplaine.

Pallbearers will be Mark Curtis, Marcus Curtis, Mike Pitcher, Wendle Pitcher, Kenny Pitcher, and Roy Sullinger.
