Jonesboro- James Keith Gambill, 66, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023.

He was born August 16, 1956 in Jonesboro to James Edward and Mary Jeanette Tucker Gambill. Keith graduated from Brookland High School and received his bachelor degree from Arkansas State University. He worked as a letter carrier of the United States Postal Service for forty years and worked for the United States Department of Agriculture for several years. He enjoyed hunting, reading and was the director for the postal food drive for many years. He was of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Jeanette Gambill; a sister, Nelda Milburn (John) all of Brookland; nephews, Chad Milburn and Cody Milburn and a cousin, Kay White (Dr. Jackie).

He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Gambill.

A celebration of his life will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bennie Isom and Rev. Chris Kjorlaug officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from noon until time of service on Sunday at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Frankie Reece, Bill Tilley, Brian Hunter and Paul Gambill and as honorary pallbearers, United States Postal employees from the Jonesboro area.
