James Henry Eversmeyer Sr. 95 of Pocahontas passed away September 16, 2021, at the Flo \u0026 Phil Smith Hospice House in Jonesboro.
James was born January 8, 1926, to the late John and Sara Gallager Eversmeyer in Hawk Point, MO. James joined the army and served during the Korean War. He was the owner of Pocahontas Machine Works and was a member of the American Legion and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
James is survived by his wife, Marie Nilges Eversmeyer; children Jimmy (Donna) Eversmeyer and Richard Eversmeyer; grandchildren Amber Eversmeyer and Justin (Melanie) Eversmeyer; sister Vira Jo (Dave) Guemmer; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Sunday, September 19 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 20 at St. Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
