Cash- James Walter Ellis, 70, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born May 30, 1945 in Bakersfield, California to the late James Millard Ellis and Freida Mae Martin Ellis and lived most of his life in Grubbs and Cash area. He was an instrumentation technician and head electrician at Riceland Food. He enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening. He could fix anything and would drop everything to help someone. He will be remembered as a loving father, husband and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellis; a daughter and her husband, Alice Marie and Stephen Williamson of Jonesboro; six grandchildren, Cameron Lucas Bean, Gregory Dylan Bean, Dream Williamson, Austin Williamson, Ryan Williamson all of Jonesboro and Michael Bluemel of Texas; five brothers, Don Ellis (Sue) of Clio, Michigan, Ron Ellis (Sharon) of West Monroe, Louisiana, Gary Ellis of Black Rock, Charlie Ellis (Gwen) of Lubbock, Texas and David Johnson of Tampa, Florida. A celebration of his life will be 10:00 am Friday, October 23, 2015 Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home, 300 W. Matthews Ave. Honored to serve as pallbearers, Danny Thomas, Ryan Reddick, Bill McClure, Jeremy Brooks, Josh Guntharp and Stewart Ethridge and honorary pallbearers, Aaron Johnson, Guy Cremeens, John Tacker, Frankie Reese, Scotty Tidwell and James Lea.
