Jonesboro- James Wilson Dillehay, 84, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born April 18, 1931 in Newport to the late Theodore and Hilda Bradley Dillehay. He served his country proudly in the United States Marines during Korean War. He had a business degree from College of the Ozarks and attended Jonesboro Business College. Mr. Dillehay retired from General Electric and also worked as a realtor. He was a member of the Applehill Church of Christ and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Grand Lodge of Arkansas and received recognition for fifty years of service. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Dillehay; three step-children, Gaylon Ratliff (Risa) of Sherwood, Russell Ratliff of Harrison and Carol Martin (Jimmy) of Jonesboro; eight grandchildren, Justin Ratliff (Shawna) of Little Rock, Lindsay Kullenberg (Magnus) of Little Rock, Ethan Ratliff of Sherwood, Logan Ratliff of Harrison, Gavin Ratliff (Katie) of Harrison, Jase Robinson of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, McCartney Robinson of Jonesboro and Dylan Martin of Alamogordo, NM; a great-granddaughter, Lily Ratliff of Harrison; seven half-brothers and sisters, Charles Dillehay of Jonesboro, Hazel Hence, Juanita Fisher, Betty Dillehay, Junior Cathey of Newport, Bobbie Hager and Juanita Cathey of Newport; friends and neighbors, Heather, Brad, Brax and Harper Nuckles He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Della Dillehay and a half-sister, Shirley. A celebration of his life will be 2:00 pm, Friday, June 26, 2015 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with James King officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home. Honored to serve as pallbearers are his grandchildren.
