Jonesboro - James Boyd McDowra, 82, passed away on Friday August 19, 2011 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro. He was born November 8, 1928 in Pattonville, Texas, to the late Renan Elmo and Frances Josephine (Bowen) McDowra.
