Pocahontas - Jacob "Gene" Eugene Campbell, 78, passed away June 24, 2009 at Five Rivers Medical Center. He was born, Nov. 8, 1930 in Jonesboro to the late Mark and Prilly Campbell. He is survived by wife, Nettie Campbell of the home. Two sons; Michael Campbell of Kansas City, KS. Mark Campbell of Loomis, CA. Daughter, Shelia Maas of Rocklin, CA. Two step sons; Jerry Vankirk of Walnut Ridge, James Vankirk of Wirth, AR. One step daughter, Linda Young of Doniphan, MO. 22 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. Two sisters; Elizabeth Metcalf of Jonesboro, Vicki Davidson of Kingburg, CA. 2 brothers; Joe Campbell of Kingsburg, CA. Deloyd Campbell of Vancover, WA.. Half brother, Robert Curtis of Jonesboro. 2 half sisters; Mary Swindle of Jonesboro \u0026 Lavelle Scott of Bay, AR. Services will be held Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Great Harvest Church. Burial will follow to Randolph Memorial Gardens with Doug Wheeler, Gene Griffin, and Michael Campbell officiating. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-7 in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Pallbearers include: Jim Dunlap, Laramie Holt, Jonathon Vankirk, Theland Mullins, John McClaughlin, Doug Holt, and Michael Campbell.
