Jackie "Jack" William Thatch, 70, of Pocahontas departed this life on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Saint Bernard Regional Medical Center.  Jack was born July 7, 1953, to the late John William Thatch and Mattie Kildow Thatch in Biggers, AR.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, John William and Mattie Thatch; siblings, Jimmy, Gary and Charles Thatch, Betty, Alberta, Pauline, Cecile and Ralph.

He is survived by his brother, Bill (Nellie) Thatch of Pocahontas; sisters, Nina Hausman, Lena Watson, Jessie (Clyde) Berry and Charlene Vandergriff; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2024, with the funeral service to begin at 2:00 p.m. All services will be held in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Michael Halliburton, Shane Thatch, Anthony Thatch, Glen Hausman, Mike Thielemier and David Lester.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to McNabb Funeral Home for final expenses.
