Obituary
Leachville - Jackie Wayne Gathright, 53, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019.
He was born October 26, 1965 in Paragould, Arkansas. Jackie served his country proudly in the United States Marines for four years while also served in the Persian Gulf. He loved farming with his family for over thirty years. He enjoyed camping, kayaking and hunting arrowheads with his son. He loved to help others in need.
He is survived by his parents, Jack and June Gathright; a son, Kyle Gathright all of Leachville; a sister, Patsy Gee and husband Brian of Pocahontas; a niece, Emily Allison and nephew, Kobe Allison; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of his life will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Gregg Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Reed officiating. Interment to follow at Macey Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from noon until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Honored to serve as pallbearers, Austin DeShazo, Brian Higginbotham, Wes Holden, Brandon McKain, Ricky Sparkman and Jackie Sparkman.
