Pocahontas - Jack Benjamin Washburn, 83, of the Noland community, passed away March 10, 2017 at St. Bernard's Medical Center.

Jack was born November 10, 1933 in Santa Rosa, TX to the late Gene Benjamin and Vashti Blume Washburn. He was a retired county extension agent, farmer, and a member of the Noland Church of Christ. He also served in the National Guard.

Jack was united in marriage to Donna Lemmons Washburn on September 22, 1956.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Noah (Lisa) Washburn of Hot Springs, John (Kim) Washburn of Black Rock, and Joe (Amanda) Washburn of Pocahontas; five grandchildren, Abigail, Noah Jr, John Taylor, Alli, and Jake Washburn; one brother, Gene Washburn of South Padre Island, TX; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Joshua Dement officiating. Internment will follow in Lemmons Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Chris Fort, Glen Tyler, Mickey Tyler, John Taylor Washburn, Noah Jr Washburn, and Ben Robinette. Honorary pallbearer will be Jake Washburn.

Visitation will be Monday, March 13, 2017 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home.
