Obituary

Jonesboro- J. Harold Bouland, 73, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Flo \u0026 Phil Jones Hospice House.

He was born March 2, 1943 in Cherry Valley to the late James and Alma Bouland. Harold worked for E.C. Barton \u0026 Co in Jonesboro for over forty-three years. He was a Deacon at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a member for sixty years. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Bouland; a son and his wife, Brad and Allison Bouland; a sister and her husband, Barbara and Eldon Harrell ; two granddaughters, Darby Bouland and Colby Bouland all of Jonesboro.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Stacy Bouland Alexander.

A celebration of his life will be 10:00 am Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Doug Welborn and Mitch Doss officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Gary Beasley, Tom Rainwater, Greg Smith, Larry Chance, Ronnie Pierce and Steve Gage and as honorary pallbearers, Neil Crowson, Deacons of the Bethany Missionary Baptist Church and past and present employees of E. C. Barton and Co.
