Obituary
Trumann- J. N. Benton, 85, left his earthly shell to walk with God, Sunday, March 12, 2017 at his residence.
He was born February 29, 1932, a leap year baby, to the late Frank and Lizzy Benton and lived most of his life in Caraway and Trumann.
He leaves behind his wife, Patricia Benton of the home; a daughter, Beverly Benton Smith; a son, Farrel Benton both from Jonesboro; two nieces, Jackie Carroll of Black Oak and Towzie Mize of Batesville and many friends.
He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Hazel Davis, Myrtle Benton and Opal Cook.
A graveside service to celebrate his life will be 3:00 pm Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Monette Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Ken Worthington officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
