Obituary
Jonesboro- Iva Jewell Watson, 81, passed away Sunday October 13, 2019 at St. Bernard Medical Center.
She was born April 10, 1938 in Bay to the late William and Clara Kimberland Davis. Mrs. Watson had worked at Singer, Obion and Delta Wood Products. She enjoyed working with flowers, going to garage sales, shopping, bingo, watching hummingbirds and working in the yard. Roses were her favorite. She loved her grandchildren, Kristen and Dustin.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Leon Watson; a son, William Earl Watson and a sister, Barbara Cothren.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Rhoads (Tommy) of Trumann; a brother, John Davis (Karen) of West Plains, Missouri; a sister, Norma Evans (Bill) of Trumann; grandchildren, Cody Watson, Kristen Rhoads and Dustin Rhoads.
A celebration of her life will be 1:00 pm Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Patrick Kimberland officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at the funeral home.
