Irma Lee Goad, 84,of Imboden, died Saturday, December 5, 2009, at St Bernards Regional Medical Center at Jonesboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Ethel Coffman and brother Bobby Coffman of Portia. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Oland Goad, a daughter and son-in-law Rebecca and Steve Jones of Imboden, a son and daughter-in-law Russell and Lori Goad of Copperas Cove, TX; two sisters, Julia Cary of Clinton, Mo, and Nina Madden of Texarkana, TX; three grandchildren, Chris Jones and wife Mikka of Imboden, Stephanie Mason and husband Lance of Reyno, and Ben Goad and wife Christina of Temple, TX; and four great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Imboden United Methodist Church and the Imboden United Methodist Women. She worked as a deputy clerk in both Lawrence and Craighead counties and for the Department of Social Services in Craighead County. She was a member of the General Federation of Women's Club. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday at the Imboden United Methodist Church with Bob McMillion officiating. Visitation will precede the service from 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge, under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Joe Penn, Jim Penn, Steve Doyle, Tim Doyle, Bill Stacy, Terry Rorex, Jim Jones and Bill Oldham. Honorary Pallbearers will be Benson Hart, Ralph Jean, Paul White, and Dave Statler.
