POCAHONTAS-Irma Jewel Farrar, 96, died Wednesday. Her husband, Robert Booth Farrar, preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Bruce Farrar of Fort Smith, two daughters, Dorothy F. Brooks of Lynchburg, VA and Peggy Ross of Jonesboro, six grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2pm Saturday in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Melvin Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 Friday evening at the funeral home.
